Having booked a non-smoking room weeks in advance, we were given a smoking room! But they were able to change this to a non-smoking room. However the smoke does permeate from other rooms so this hotel is not recommended for non-smokers. The restaurant is not recommended.

This hotel is in a great location close to everything in central Weimar. Good breakfast and decent little resturant with outdoor seating overlooking a small town square. Provided me with free parking. I would recommend.
Hotel a bit dated and the rooms were small, but clean and nothing out of the ordinary for Europe.

Nice and cozy place overall. Opulent breakfast with many choices. Good value for the money.
Staff is friendly but not all of them speak English. My single room on the top floor was cramped and one had to duck while moving towards the window to avoid bumping the head at the slanted ceiling. There's no wi-fi or internet room.

Unfortunately there is not lift in the hotel.

Staff friendly. Close to centre of town.
Breakfast room too small for number of guests. Staff couldn't cope.Booked double but got a twin. Room was changed by friendly and polite receptionist but double much smaller and whatever we did, the bathroom was flooded after every shower.

Short walk to the town/shops. Pleasant efficient staff and hotel had a excellent bar cum restaurant used by guests and townspeople alike.

Central but quiet location. Traditional, pleasantly old-fashioned setting. Facilities on a par with the very reasonable rates - cannot expect more. The manager went out of his way to assist in finding another hotel to extend our stay as most were fully booked.
Staff at breakfast were not too readily available, staying mainly in the kitchen out of sight. On request, however, they gave service.

Cute little hotel on Weimar plaza. Short walk from historic sites. Clean. Good breakfast included.
Need to be aware that you will have to carry suitcases up as many as four flights of stairs.
